Learn how to prepare children for surgery, medical procedures, and deal with trauma from previous experiences.

 6 CEU’s Contact hours – Earncredit toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist

.Discuss the impact of trauma on the child from a neurobiological perspective and demonstrate ways to help the child

become aware of this impact through play.

                      .List the basic skills and techniques of the Somatic Experience Model and provide rationale for the  use  of 3

interventions of play therapy that demonstrate these basic skills.

.Gain theoretical knowledge upon which interventions can be developed from developmental needs ,psychological and

neurobiological perspectives.

.List and explain the reason for utilization of 5 to 7 play therapy interventions for working with this population.

.Describe 3 ways to help parents help their child during medical treatment.

Refund Policy – Harmony Counseling Center will refund your registration fee if you provide cancellation notice prior to 10 business days before the scheduled training.  We will deduct a 20% administrative fee to cover our expenses.  You can expect your Paypal or credit card refund within 10 working days of receipt of the request

Cancellation of Workshops –Harmony Counseling Center reserves the right to cancel workshops due to low registration.  We will notify you 10 days in advance and will refund you 100% of any registration fees sent.
